Maegis Training Terms and Conditions

 

 

1. Learners under the age of 18 years must have the consent of their parents or guardians in order to enroll.
2. On enrolment, a non-refundable deposit of 40% is payable. The balance is payable prior to commencement of the course. (All fees are subject to VAT at the ruling rate). Materials remain the property of Maegis Ltd until payment is completed
3. Once the course has started, the fee is non refundable under any circumstances.
4. Dishonoured cheques will incur a charge of £20.00 each, all training will be suspended until payment is then resolved i.e. paid in full.
5. Study must be regular. Tutorials must be booked in advance – see 8 below
6. The length of course has been calculated to allow an average learner the time to complete the course, however, this will depend on individual aptitude, as will the degree of proficiency achieved. You will be advised on the time to complete your course when materials are issued.
7 Courses should be completed in the planned time. If the course is not completed within the time agreed, and if the learner wishes to carry on with the course, this is at the discretion of the Manager, and an additional fee may be payable.
8. Distance Learners will be supported by telephone and internet tutorials, which must be booked in advance with your tutor by emailing support@maegis.com.
9. All learners must use the workbooks and materials specified for the course booked.
10. Maegis Ltd will make every effort to ensure the learner reaches the required standard. It must be appreciated that regular practice is an integral part of the course.
11. Maegis Ltd will supply all manuals, files and software for distance tuition.
12. Where a learner fails any of the course validation tests, a charge may be levied to cover the cost of second attempts.
13. A learner who wishes to sit OCR/MOS/AMSPAR or other external examinations may have to pay an additional fee to sit these examinations.
14. Past external examination papers, where available, are provided to learners to practice, and may be charged under separate cover.
15. Maegis Ltd is unable to accept responsibility for loss or damage to learner's property.
16. Maegis Ltd reserves the right to dismiss any learner who is consistently disruptive or does not attend regularly for lessons where they are held at one of Maegis Training Centre.
17 A Certificate is only issued when a learner passes all subjects contained in the programme. If a learner does not meet this specification, individual certificates will be issued for the subjects passed.
18.
