Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer

Our training system allows you to study at times that suit you, with
support from our staff over the internet, by email and by telephone.
Additional learning comes through private 1:1 workshops in our training
centre at times that suit your schedule. Online testing and practice
exams show how you are progressing and ensure that you are ready for
the real exam. YOU are in charge of your study and progress.
Why MCSE?
The MCSE is the premier qualification for IT Professionals working
in design, installation and support of major IT systems - the breadth
of knowledge and depth of understanding make MCSE the qualification
that is demanded for important roles in the industry.
The system comes at three levels:
- Learn@M: Self Study with internet support, telephone
and e-mail mentoring, and hands-on workshops. Self-study can take
50 – 100 hours per course, and there is no heavy time pressure
– although email mentoring lasts for 90 days per course.
- Lecture@M: Self Study with internet support, online
live seminars and mentoring, as well as local hands-on workshops.
The online live seminars cycle over a number of weeks – seven
seminars for most courses Systems. Each seminar cycle runs to a schedule
during either 12.00 to 13.30 or 18.30 to 20.00 hours.
- Lab@M: Self Study with internet support, online
live seminars as above and mentoring, as well as local hands-on workshops,
and access to a virtual machine over the internet that enables you
to practice configuration exercises at any time without affecting
your work or home computing
The Route to MCSE
Candidates are required to pass six core exams. These are split into
- Four networking system exams
- One client operating system exam
- One design exam
One elective exam is also required
