Bookkeeping and Accounts

Gain a clear understanding of the basic principles of Bookkeeping. This is for anyone wishing to improve their work prospects, business owners wanting to keep their own books or anyone wishing to retrain or improve existing skills. Gain the OCR Certificate in Bookkeeping Level 1 - or progress to the full Level 2 Diploma course.

This training is intended for students with no prior knowledge of bookkeeping or accounts, and allows learners to progress at their own pace through the syllabus detailed below.

Part 1 and Part 2 lead to the OCR Level 1 Certificate in Bookkeeping, and extension to include Part 3 leads to the OCR Level 2 Certificate in Accounting. Both certificates are gained by passing the relevant OCR examinations.
Our tutors are available throughout the course to assist and explain the details of the system and its contents. At the end of the second and third parts of the course, after completion of the assessment module, each student is given a personal revision training seminar prior to attempting either the OCR Level 1 Certificate in Bookkeeping or OCR Level 2 Certificate in Accounting exams.
